JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 25-06-2024 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 04.04.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50570 of 2021 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

It appears that vide order dated 04.04.2022, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks and the learned Court below was directed to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of concerned Court.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41011 of 2024(2) dt.25-06-2024 2/2 petitioner that due to illness, the petitioner could not surrender within four weeks and furnish the bail bonds on time.

Considering the fact that anticipatory bail of the petitioner was allowed on 04.04.2022 whereas the present modification petition has been filed 23.05.2024, this Court is not inclined to modify the order dated 04.04.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50570 of 2021 Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed.
