Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioners seek bail in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No. 263 of 2022, registered for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioners is that the daughter of the informant, who was married to the son of the petitioners, was assaulted by the petitioners for non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry. It is further alleged that ultimately she was killed by the accused persons.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29098 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in this case. They are the in-laws of the deceased. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature and the petitioners are in custody since 17.10.2022.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the fact that the petitioners are the inlaws and they are in custody since 17.10.2022, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge if the charge is not framed yet and on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Gaya in connection with Chakand P.S.
