2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 278C of 2024 instituted under Sections 323, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the complaint, the marriage took place in the year 2023 but she was tortured for dowry and on 10.02.2023, she was ousted which followed the case.
4. Earlier, the coordinate bench had sent the matter to mediation centre on 07.05.2025 and the Mediator's report dated 25.06.2025 shows that it failed.
5. Subsequently, upon place before this Court, on 29.08.2025 as a last chance, this Court wanted an amicable

6. The contention is that she could not come due to the examination of Bachelor of Arts and in mobile phone the Admit Card of Patliputra University has been provided to show that she appeared in the examination on 28.08.2025 and also has to appear on 30.08.2025.
7. The contention of the husband is that marriage never took place and the bride side forcibly took him away and solemnized the marriage.
8. The case is there, the petitioner will face the music, he is only 21 years of age, has no criminal antecedent, in that background, this Court is inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail.
9. Let the petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the subordinate court within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Complaint Case No. 278C of 2024 to the satisfaction of learned J.M.1st Class, Nalanda subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. as also the other conditions.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26554 of 2025(4) dt.29-08-2025 3/3 (i) one of the bailor should be the family member/relative of the petitioner who shall provide official document to show his/her bona fide;
(ii) the petitioner shall appear on each and every date before the Trial Court and failure to do so for two consecutive dates without plausible reason will entail cancellation of his bail bond by the Trial Court itself;
(iii) the petitioner shall co-operate in the investigation and make himself available to the police as and when required; (iv) the petitioner shall in no way try to induce or promise or threat the witnesses or tamper with the evidences, failing which the State shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of the bail bonds;
(v) the petitioner shall desist from committing any criminal offence again, failing which the State shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
