The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No.360 of 2016 registered under Sections 25 (1-b) a and 26 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Saran. The accusation is of recovery of one country made pistol, one country made rifle and one live cartridge from the Khope of the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, in fact, the alleged country made pistol and rifle were not recovered from the possession of the petitioner or inside the

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation as also considering that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of four cases, as detailed in paragraph-3 to this application, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
