The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Phulparas PS case no. 13 of 2017 (G.R. No. 49 of 2017) registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of the prosecution is regarding the accused person burning the victim girl on account of nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the elder brother of the husband of the deceased and his family is living separately from that of the husband of the deceased, hence he has nothing to do with the alleged incident. It

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender before the concerned court within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Jhanjharpur, District Madhubani in connection with Phulparas PS case no. 13 of 2017 (G.R.
