JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 31-08-2018 The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is non-consideration of their cases for treating the vocational qualification obtained from the Intermediate Council equivalent to Intermediate degree.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15702 of 2008 dt.31-08-2018 2/2 From the pleadings, it appears that similar issue was decided in CWJC No. 3974 of 2007 and analogous cases and by order dated 16.05.2008 a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court has held that 'Intermediate Vocational Course Degree from Bihar Intermediate Education Council or its equivalent is equivalent to Intermediate of Science/Arts/Commerce.

Accordingly, the respondents are directed to examine the claim of the petitioners treating their Intermediate Vocational Course Degree from Intermediate Education Council at par with the to Intermediate degree and pass appropriate order as to the legality and validity of appointment of the petitioner. Appropriate order must be passed within a maximum period of three months from today on the claim of consequential benefits to the petitioners.
