Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 247 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 30, 30(a) and 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.02.2023 and there is recovery of 80.82 liters of foreign made liquor.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27508 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of six months in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court-II, Sitamarhi in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 247 of 2021.

The petitioner will visit Nanpur Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
