Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bettiah Town Police Station Case No. 242 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is that he got executed the sale deed in respect of land of maternal- grand-father of the informant placing one Yogendra Bhagat in place of informant but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the informant himself transferred the land in question by executing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42789 of 2016 (3) dt.13-01-2017 2/2 sale deed but when protest was made by his maternal uncle, he lodged this case with an intend to save his skin. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties and also considering this aspect of the matter that there appears to be land dispute, this anticipatory bail petition is allowed and it is ordered that petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the court concerned, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-( ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran in Bettiah Town Police Station Case no. 242 of 2016, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
