1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the present writ petition was filed in the year 2010, under the old Act i.e. Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2001. But, subsequently, in the year 2016 the new Act has come into force therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to approach the concerned authority under the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control), 2016 Act to ventilate his grievance.
2. Having regard to the same, the present writ petition
Patna High Court CWJC No.16642 of 2010(4) dt.30-08-2023 2/2 is permitted to be withdrawn with a liberty to approach the concerned authority under the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control), 2016 for ventilating the grievance of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today. In case any application is made by the petitioner, the same shall be considered on its own merits duly putting all the parties on notice and giving them an opportunity of filing their explanations/objections and hearing.
With the above direction, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
