2. The petitioner has filed the present writ application complaining that on raiyati land of the petitioner, the respondent authorities have constructed road without his consent under Mukhya Mantri Gramin Path Anurakshan. The details of land has been provided in para-3 of the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the State submits that steps have been taken for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner by Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department , Work Division Lakhisarai and he vide his letter no. 1009 dated 27.05.2024 has informed the petitioner that as soon as the evaluation report would be made available the process for making payment of compensation amount will be initiated.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of dispute and reply of the respondent that petitioner is entitled for payment of compensation as per the evaluation report, this writ application is disposed with direction to the District Magistrate to ensure evaluation of the petitioner's land at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from today and it is further directed to ensure the payment of compensation as per the evaluation report of the petitioner's land within a maximum period of three months thereafter.

5. The present writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
