JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-06-2023 The short prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna i.e. the respondent no. 3 to dispose of the appeal, filed by the petitioner on 10.05.2011, in case the same has not already been disposed off. A copy of the appeal has been annexed as Annexure-9 to the present writ petition.
The learned counsel for the respondent State submits
Patna High Court CWJC No.23172 of 2013(2) dt.23-06-2023 2/2 that in case, the aforesaid appeal is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a fixed time frame. Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the respondent no. 3 to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioner, in case the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
