A prayer is made in Public Interest to direct the Circle Officer, Chainpur in the District of Kaimur to conclude Encroachment Case No. 02/2017-18 which relates to encroachment over a piece of land bearing Khata No. 237, Khesra No. 738 having an area of 2.24 Acres, which according to the petitioner is recorded in the Khatiyan as Bhumi Anabad Sarvsadharan Kabristan.

The complaint is that the public land has been encroached and though the encroachment case is initiated but

Patna High Court CWJC No.9975 of 2019(2) dt.03-05-2019 2/2 which has not been concluded.

In the circumstances and for the present, we would only direct the Circle Officer, Chainpur to conclude Encroachment Case No. 02/2017-18 in accordance with law and with opportunity of hearing to the alleged encroachers, preferably within six months of the receipt/production of a copy of this order, if not already concluded.

This disposes of the writ petition.
