1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) That this writ petition is being filed on behalf of the petitioner for issuance of an appropriate order/orders/direction/directions writ in the natureor certiorari to set aside the letter No.247 dated 19.3.2015 issued by the Block Development officer, Bihia, Bhojpur with to the non-consideration or appointment or the petitioner an compassionate ground.
(ii) Further for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding to the respondents to appoint the petitioner on Compassionate ground with the all consequential

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
