Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioners seeks bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 511 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) and 56(b) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 18.03.2023 and there is recovery of 405 liters of foreign liquor.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27693 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of six months in custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Excise Court No. 03, Gaya in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 511 of 2023.

The petitioner will visit Bypass Police Station, Dist:- Patna on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
