JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 20-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the State and the informant.

The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 406, 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against the accused persons of entering into an agreement for sale of land and, thereafter, refused to execute the sale deed and also threatening the informant and his family members and demanding extortion money of Rs.21 lacs, however, it is contended that, against the petitioner, there is allegation only to the extent that she along with Kusum Devi instigated their husbands and sons to mentally torture the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57415 of 2015 (2) dt.20-01-2016 2/2 informant. Except the aforesaid general and omnibus allegation, there is nothing against the petitioner who is a lady. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Meena Devi be released on bail in the event of her arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Rajeev Nagar P.S. Case No.42 of 2015 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Sangeeta Rani, Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Patna subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
