1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the selection of Respondent no.- 8 (Pinki Kumari) as the Sevika of Anganwadi Centre no.- 23, Ward no.- 2, Panchayat- Vasilpur, Disitrict- Arwal, as the same has been done in violation of the Rules/Guidelines

Patna High Court CWJC No.11761 of 2021(2) dt.24-11-2023 2/2 for selection of Sevika/Sahayika.

II. For issuance of appropriate writ/writs in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing/commanding the Respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Sevika of Anganwadi Centre no.- 23, Ward no. 2, Panchayat- Vasilpur, Disitrict- Arwal."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a limited direction upon the Appellate Authority to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner. It is directed accordingly.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be also granted liberty to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, in case the appeal filed by the petitioner has already been dismissed. Liberty so sought is granted.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off.
