The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No. 02 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.01.2023.

The prosecution story in short is that informant Jagnarayan Yadav solemnized marriage of his daughter in the year 2017 with Sonalal Yadav (petitioner). After some time of

No.29049 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 marriage, the birth of the girl child, petitioner Sonalal Yadav, father-in-law Wakil Yadav, mother-in-law Rajwanti Devi demanded motorcycle in dowry and when their demand was not fulfilled they started torturing and threatening to kill his daughter.

The informant's daughter has been killed in the matrimonial house in suspicious condition. The petitioner has to explain the cause of death of the deceased (wife). In the aforesaid fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.
