The petitioner seeks bail in S.Tr. No. 78/2019, arising out of Mohiuddinagar P.S. Case No. 56/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 304B, 201 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of deceased.

It is alleged in the written report that daughter of informant was married with this petitioner in the year 2013. After marriage she was tortured in her Sasural. It is further alleged that on 27.04.2018, the accused persons including this petitioner killed the daughter of informant along with his grand daughter.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27557 of 2019(3) dt.28-06-2019 2/2 Report from the trial court has been received, wherein it is mentioned that informant has already been examined. Three witnesses including I.O. are yet to be examined. Trial is likely to be concluded within six months.

From the report it appears that trial has sufficiently progressed.

In view of such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.

The trial court is directed to conclude the trial within six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order either by giving short adjournment or by fixing the case on day to day basis and send compliance report.
