This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. of Imamganj P.S. Case No. 66/15 dated 01.06.2015 instituted for the offences under Sections 323, 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

On 04.11.2020, notices were issued to opposite party no. 2. The notice does not appear to have been personally served on opposite party no. 2.

However, since there is no appearance on behalf

In any view of the matter, since this is a case of the year 2015 and in all its probability, the investigation of this case must have been completed by now. If the same has not been completed, it ought to be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order before the investigating agency. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by any order of the court below, he would be at liberty to avail the remedies to which he is entitled under the law.

The petition stands disposed of.
