1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed for directing the respondents authorities especially the District Magistrate, Banka (Respondent No.

3) to take a final decision on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of N.P. Bore Revolver/Pistol license, to direct the District Magistrate (Respondent No. 3) to grant an arms license and other relief of reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled during the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6598 of 2023(2) dt.06-11-2023 2/2 course of hearing of the writ application."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Banka to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner, which has been filed for grant of arms license.

3. Having regard to the limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Banka to dispose off the application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license, in case the same has been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
