2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No. 647 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 498A, 323, 506 and 34 of the I.P.C. and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. There is allegation on the petitioner that he tortured his wife/informant - Nishu Kumari, for demand of dowry of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakh).
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has committed no offence and he has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner's name has transpired in this case on the basis of misunderstanding by his family
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30675 of 2024(7) dt.24-02-2025 2/2 member. The informant is not ready to live in her matrimonial house. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is ready to settle the matter with his wife. In para 37 of the case diary, it is mentioned that petitioner is ready to comply all the the provisions of 41(1) of Cr.P.C.
5. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.
6. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, and submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail.
7. Let the petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya, in connection Belaganj P.S. Case No. 647 of 2023 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (S. B. Pd. Singh, J) Ankit Kumar/- U T
