====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-05-2019 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

The petitioners are outstanding sports persons in the sports discipline of Throw Ball. They had applied against the advertisement dated 25.06.2015 for appointment on Class-III post from amongst outstanding sports persons. It is the case of the petitioners that only those outstanding sports persons who have participated in Olympic and international level games have been selected, whereas

Patna High Court CWJC No.8066 of 2019(2) dt.15-05-2019 2/3 the petitioners have not been considered at all, even though many posts, which were advertised, are still vacant. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that if an effort is made to fill up the entire posts for which the advertisement was issued, perhaps the petitioners also would find themselves in government service. Otherwise also, it has been submitted that if an advertisement has been issued for filling up a particular number of posts and the process has not yet ended, there is no reason why the posts ought not be filled up if suitable candidates are available and who have applied against such advertisement.

The petitioners under the aforesaid circumstances are directed to make a representation before the Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Bihar, Patna (Respondent No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8066 of 2019(2) dt.15-05-2019 3/3 the process of selection is finally completed. The order, needless to say, would be a reasoned order and in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
