Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Rupaspur P.S. CaseNo.102 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under section 30 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The seizure list reflects recovery of 22 liters of illicit liquor.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner was neither apprehended on the spot nor anything has been recovered from his conscious possession. Petitioner has no concern either with the vehicle in question

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26914 of 2019(2) dt.24-04-2019 2/2 or with the recovered liquor. Petitioner is a student having clean antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Rupaspur P.S.
