In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Special Case No.135 of 2017, arising out of Pirbahore P.S. Case No.496 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20/22/23 of the N.D.P.S. Act. The name of the petitioner has been surfaced in the F.I.R. on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Rakesh Kumar Gop, from whose possession 100 grams of Ganja has been recovered.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
