JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 28-02-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(i). For issuance of writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to release the grant in aid under the Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme to promote voluntary action

Patna High Court CWJC No.14458 of 2014(2) dt.28-02-2023 2/3 for persons with Disabilities (hereinafter referred to "DDRS Scheme") for the period 2007-08 to 2012-13 to the Respondent No.7 institute and upon receipt of the same a further direction to the Respondent No.7 be given to forthwith pay the arrears of salary and other recurring cost sanction for TA/DA, stipend, transport allowances etc. to the staff and students for the period 2007-8 to 20-12-13 of the petitioners who are working with the Respondent NO.7 Institute under the scheme."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs, New Delhi, by filing appropriate representation in view of the fact that the District Magistrate, Patna has already submitted a favourable report and has also recommended for release of grant-in-aid under the Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme. Liberty, so sought,

Patna High Court CWJC No.14458 of 2014(2) dt.28-02-2023 3/3 is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today before the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs, New Delhi, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
