The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 247 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Exclusive Excise Court-II, Sitamarhi in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30, 30(a) and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Allegedly, it is a case of recovery of illicit liquor from the house of this petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27338 of 2022(2) dt.04-11-2022 2/2 prayer for anticipatory bail.

In view of the fact that the said illicit liquor was recovered from the house of this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
