2. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 856 of 2023, 1531 of 2023 arising out of Barachatti P.S. Case No. 668 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of killing his wife for demand of dowry and torture.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2022 and it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that no witness has been examined in this case till date.

5. Considering the period of custody and the delay in the trial, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sherghati, Gaya/concerned Court below in connection with S.Tr. No. 856 of 2023/ 1531 of 2023 arising out of Barachatti P.S. Case No. 668 of 2021.
