The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is that the accused persons including the petitioners killed the grand daughter of the informant by strangulating her for want of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioners. The petitioner No.1 is the mother-in-law of the deceased and petitioner No.2 is the Gotani of the deceased. They are separate in mess and property from the husband of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50769 of 2016 (2) dt.28-11-2016 2/2 deceased. The husband of the deceased is in custody. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioners are named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Barauli P.S. case No.135 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
