ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 28-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with C.A. Case No.879 of 2014 for allegedly having committed the offence under Section 366A of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the specific statement made by the victim girl that she was kidnapped and confined in a room and raped on several occasions for a period of over one month, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected.
