This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. of Mahila P.S. Case No. 25/2016 dated 08.05.2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to inform about the stage of the investigation.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41973 of 2016(2) dt.15-10-2020 2/2 However, considering the fact that the case is of the year 2016, it is presumed that the investigation must have been completed by now.
If the investigation has still not been completed, this Court directs that the same to be concluded preferably within a period of four months from today.
In case, the petitioner would find aggrieved with the report of the police, he will have the liberty to take recourse to legal remedies to which, he is entitled. This order shall be implemented only if the investigation of this case has remained pending. This petition stands disposed of.
