2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 13.08.2022 / 9.12.2022 by which he has been directed to deposit fifty percent of the stamp duty which is a pre-requisite for hearing of an appeal under Section 47(a)(6) of the Indian Stamp Act.

3. In view of the above, this application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner, Saharsa with an application for exemption from the deposit of fifty percent of the Stamp Duty in accordance with law.

4. If such an application is filed, then the same shall be considered and disposed of by the Commissioner within a period of two months of its filing in accordance with law after considering the reasons given by the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this application is disposed of.
