This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners and others allegedly assaulted to the informant with chhaku etc. causing injury at the chest and other parts of the body for the reason that the informant had managed admission of one Rahul in a college and that Rahul had agreed to pay rupees four thousand for the purpose.

Submission of the petitioner is that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and the doctor had found simple and superficial injury on the person of the injured. The petitioners are students.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Katihar town P.S. Case No. 544 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48545 of 2016 (2) dt.13-12-2016 Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
