The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 37/2024 dated 14.02.2024, registered under Sections 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and other co-accused persons are alleged to have killed the sister of the informant and thrown her dead body in the river Ganga. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. The petitioners are father and brother of the deceased. The informant is the daughter of the petitioner i.e. sister of the deceased. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that there

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29580 of 2024(3) dt.31-07-2024 2/2 is no material to support the allegation against the petitioners. There is no material to connect the petitioners except the statement of the informant. The dead body has not been recovered. The deceased was not staying with the petitioners. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 15.02.2024.

Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also period of custody, this bail application is allowed. 7.

Let the petitioners above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1, Barh, District- Patna in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 37 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioners will cooperate in the trial and shall be represented through his lawyer or himself. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Ranjeet/- U T
