This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 411 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 341,323,354B,504,506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation in the First Information Report of outraging the modesty of the informant, which in my view, is of serious nature. The said allegation has been supported by the witnesses in course of investigation as it appears from the case diary.

In my view, therefore, no case for anticipatory bail is made made out.

This application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44902 of 2017(3) dt.20-12-2017 2/2 Petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of the present anticipatory bail application by this Court.
