In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Mainatand P.S. Case No. 8 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Allegation has been made that the petitioner has not supplied the goods to the consumer, which led to filing of the present case. The petitioner has criminal history. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
