JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(A)(i) The order dated 29.5.09 as contained in D.R. No. 125/Dy.S.P.

(Head-Quarters) by which the Respondent No. 6 being Conducting Officer found the petitioner to be guilty of the charges as contained in Annexure-9.

(ii) The order dated 31.5.09, passed in Memo No. 3758, issued by Respondent No.

awarding punishment as contained in

Patna High Court CWJC No.23904 of 2013(2) dt.05-07-2023 2/2 Annexure-10 of the Writ application, (iii) The order dated 19.11.09 as contained in Memo No. 1970, issued by Respondent No. 4 by which appeal preferred by petitioner has been dismissed as contained in Annexure-11 of the writ application.

(B) A writ in the nature of a mandamus or any other appropriate writ/Writs, order/orders, direction, commanding the respondents not to give effect to the orders as contained in Annexures-9, 10 and 11 of the Writ application."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with the efflux of time, the effect of the order of punishment dated 31.05.2005 has been rendered otiose long back and now the petitioner has also stood retired, hence the present writ petition be disposed off.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
