2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Haraiya P.S. Case No. 165 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(B)(C), 23, 25, 29 and 61 of the NDPS Act and Section 111(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, a total of 7.650 kg of charas was recovered from the joint possession of the accused persons. From the possession of the petitioner, 1 kg of charas was recovered.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence.

5. Per contra, learned counsel for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Having considered the submissions of the parties, the nature and gravity of the allegation, and the quantity of contraband recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail stands rejected.

8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
