Petitioner seeks bail in Mairwa P.S. Case No.483 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272, 273, 308 Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 38(1), 41(1) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that total 311 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from Hyundai Santro Car. The petitioner started running away on seeing the police party.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is neither owner of the car nor driver of the car. He has been arrested merely on suspicion and is in custody since 12.12.2018 having clean antecedents.
