JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 25-05-2023 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State Mr. Jharkhandi Upadhyay. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No. 472 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-B)A, 26, 35 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2022 and the petitioner is quite innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

The Officer-in-Charge, Patrakarnagar and the I.O. of the case have appeared.

Considering the above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application stands rejected. The District Judge, Patna is directed to get all the cases including the present case registered against the petitioner tried in one particular court so that the trial of the petitioner is concluded at the earliest.

The S.H.O., Patrakarnagar will approach the District Judge, Patna for speedy trial of the cases registered against the petitioner. If such an effort is made by the S.H.O., Patrakarnagar, the District Judge, Patna will see to it that all the cases registered against the petitioner are transferred in one Court and the trial of all those cases is concluded at the earliest.
