2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barh P.S. Case No. 830 of 2023, registered for the offence under Sections 342, 323, 324, 327, 379, 307, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner and other accused persons have assaulted the victim, looted money from him and subsequently made him transfer Rupees Eighteen Thousand from his account.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the money has been transferred in the account of Rahul Kumar and not this petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in jail since 30.12.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is involved in assault-

6. Considering the seriousness of the offence, this application is dismissed.
