BAJANTHRI) Date : 12-09-2024 The Appellants have assailed the order of the learned Single Judge dated 13.01.2021 passed in CWJC No. 11188 of 2018. Short question for consideration in the present lis is whether Respondent-Mundirka Sahu is entitled to interest on belated payment of portion of gratuity amount which was due to him on 28.02.2017 with reference to the policy of the Appellant dated 27.02.2017. On the other hand, it was paid only on 09.08.2019. Resultantly, there is a delay insofar as payment of

Patna High Court L.P.A No.379 of 2021 dt.12-09-2024 2/2 portion of gratuity amount of Rs.3,00,000/- for which Respondent is entitled to interest. The same has been extended by the learned Single Judge. Therefore, there is no infirmity in the order of the learned Single Judge dated 13.01.2021 passed in CWJC No. 11188 of 2018.

2. Accordingly, LPA stands dismissed.
