The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Shikarpur P. S. Case No. 228 of 2017 instituted under Sections 353, 385, 387, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation, in brief, is that a call was made to the informant- SDM, Narkatiaganj to face consequence for crossing the attendance of the petitioner.

Submission is that petitioner is a Medical Officer serving for last several years on contractual basis and no such threatening call was made by this petitioner and due to some oblique motive, he has been falsely implicated in this case. Having considered the aforesaid facts and

No.38964 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 circumstances, let the petitioner, namely, Dr. Quamaruzzama, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Shikarpur P.S.Case No. 228 of 2017; subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
