In the present case, the petitioner is challenging the action of the respondent in rejecting the application for compassionate appointment.

It appears that the application of petitioner was rejected in the year 1992 and he could know the outcome of the result in 1998, which he verified by filing application in 1999 and after a long lapse of time i.e. 11 years, he has approached this Court for challenging the order thereby the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been rejected.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15396 of 2010 (3) dt.16-05-2018 As the petitioner has come to this Court after long period this writ petition suffers from delay and latches. Accordingly this writ petition is dismissed.
