Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Majhauliya P.S.Case No.457 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 354/B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is the father of Satyendra Ram against whom, there is allegation that he attempted to outrage the modesty of the victim. Allegation against the petitioner is that when the complainant met the father of Satyendra Ram about the conduct of his son, he told that it would be considered on the next morning. No.27609 of 2020(2) dt.25-11-2020 2/2 of Satyendra Ram and there is no any allegation of overt-act against this petitioner, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of one month from the date of communication of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.50,000/- (fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhauliya P.S.Case No.457 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. However, court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same expeditiously within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
