2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Shankarpur P.S. Case No. 201 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The petitioner is the assailant of the deceased. He is in jail since 26.04.2023.

4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the deceased was a veteran criminal and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Since the petitioner is the assailant of the deceased,
