Petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to consider his case for compassionate appointment. The father of the petitioner died in harness on 05.10.2017 while he was working as Peon/Class-IV employee in Adarsh High School Tetarhat, Block-Ramgarh, District-Lakhisarai. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted application for compassionate appointment on 18.11.2017 and the application for grant of compassionate appointment is

Patna High Court CWJC No.9518 of 2019(3) dt.04-07-2019 2/2 pending at the level of the respondents.

Considering the object behind compassionate appointment, the Court directs the respondents to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
