Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Karaiparsurai P.S. Case No. 11 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to local village politics. Petitioner has been a dealer of P.D.S. for the last thirty years without there being any complaint against him. Petitioner is an old man aged about 75 years and is suffering from several ailments. PDS licence of the petitioner has been cancelled vide Annexure-2.

No.28132 of 2019(4) dt.06-05-2019 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Karaiparsurai P.S. Case No. 11 of 2019 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
