Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj Excise P.S. Case No. 216 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.02.2023 and there is recovery of 134.280 litres of foreign liquor from his possession and he has no antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27997 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge Excise Court No. 2, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Excise P.S. Case No. 216 of 2023.
