The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Ujiarpur P.S. Case No.82 of 2017 registered under Sections 272, 273, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 47 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the police raided a place where many persons were loading and unloading country-made liquor in the vehicles and 23 persons were apprehended on the spot. One of the apprehended accused, Daljit Kumar is said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner, Arjun Rai, and nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5132 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 2/2 made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge 6th, Samastipur in connection with Ujiarpur P.S.
