The petitioner served the Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited ( for short 'the Company') as Assistant Electrical Engineer and retired from service on 28.2.2010. On his superannuation, the amount under the head Group Saving Scheme was paid to him in August, 2015. The amount under the head General Provident Fund was paid on 15.03.2011. Grievance is that for delayed payment of the amount under the GSS, the petitioner is entitled to interest as per the circular of the Company (Annexure-2) which has not been

It is also stated that in case of delayed payment of the amount under the head GPF, petitioner is entitled to payment of statutory interest. A representation in this regard was filed which was not considered and examined by the respondents and hence the writ petition.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the application be disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation in this regard before the Managing Director of South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited ( respondent no.3) for consideration and disposal in accordance with law. Seen, thus, the writ application is disposed of ermitting the petitioner to file a detailed representation raising the aforesaid grievance before the respondent no.3. If any such representation is filed within three weeks, I am sure the said respondent shall bestow consideration on the application and take appropriate decision in accordance with law as quickly as possible preferably within 06 weeks of such filing/presentation.
